VII IEEE Latin-American Summer School on Computational Intelligence
IV IEEE Latin-American Summer School on Robotics
December 14-17, 2010
Facultad de Ciencias Físicas y Matemáticas, Universidad de Chile, Av Beauchef 850, Santiago.

The Summer School will be held at the Universidad de Chile, Santiago, Chile. Two events will take place simultaneously but sharing a unique program, so that registrants can attend both events.

VII IEEE Latin-American Summer School on Computational Intelligence

It is jointly organized by the Chilean Chapter of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (former IEEE Neural Networks Society) and the Department of Electrical Engineering, Universidad de Chile. During the Summer School a student Poster Competition on Computational Intelligence will be held. The IEEE CIS offers travel grants to student members coming from countries other than Chile. The Summer School is dedicated to explain the main models and algorithms used in Computational Intelligence (Neural Networks, Fuzzy Logic and Evolutionary Computation) and their application to signal processing, pattern recognition, control systems, data mining, power systems, etc.

IV IEEE Latin-American Summer School on Robotics

It is jointly organized by the Chilean Chapter of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (former IEEE Neural Networks Society) and the Department of Electrical Engineering, Universidad de Chile. During the Summer School a student Poster Competition on Computational Intelligence will be held. The Summer School is dedicated to explain the main models, algorithms and devices used in Robotics and their application to mining, traffic and so on.
